This Privacy Policy describes how IOUEZ – I Owe You Easy (“we”, “our”, or “us”),
developed by A Digital Motive, collects, uses, and protects your information when
you use our mobile application (“App”). By using IOUEZ, you agree to the collection
and use of information as described in this policy.

1.1 Information You Provide Directly
• Name: Your display name used to identify you within the App.
• Email Address: Used for account creation, login, and linking with other users.
• Financial Information: Debt amounts, currencies, payment records, categories,
due dates, descriptions, and installment plans that you manually enter.
• Digital Signatures: Signature images you draw within the App for debt agreements.
• Profile Information: Any additional details you choose to add to your profile.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
• Device Identifier / FCM Token: A unique token generated by Firebase Cloud
Messaging (FCM) used solely to deliver push notifications to your device.
• Usage Data: Basic information about how you interact with the App, collected
through Firebase Analytics, such as screens viewed and features used.
• Authentication Data: Login method (email/password or Google Sign-In) and
session tokens managed by Firebase Authentication.
1.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
• We do not collect your phone number.
• We do not collect your location or GPS data.
• We do not collect your contacts, camera, or microphone data beyond what you
explicitly provide (e.g., drawing a signature).
• We do not use advertising identifiers or tracking technologies for ads.
• We do not sell your data to any third party.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
• Account Management: To create and manage your IOUEZ account and authenticate
your identity securely.
• App Functionality: To record, display, and sync debt records between you and
linked contacts.
• Push Notifications: To notify you of new debts, payment requests, payment
confirmations, signature requests, and agreement updates.
• Agreement Signatures: To store digital signatures associated with debt
agreements between two linked users.
• Syncing: To synchronize shared debt records in real time between two linked
user accounts.
• Analytics: To understand how users interact with the App and improve
performance and features.
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws and regulations.

3. HOW WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
We share limited data only in the following circumstances:
• With Your Linked Contact: When you link your account with another user, certain
debt records (including amounts, descriptions, dates, statuses, and signatures)
are shared between both accounts to enable mutual record-keeping. You control
which debts are shared.
• With Firebase / Google: Our App uses Firebase services (Authentication,
Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Analytics) provided by Google LLC.
Data transmitted to Firebase is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy available at
https://policies.google.com/privacy. Firebase processes data on our behalf to
provide the core services of the App.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by
law or in response to valid legal requests (e.g., court orders or government
regulations).
• Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets,
your information may be transferred. We will notify you before your personal
information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

• Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase, which uses industry-standard
encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest.
• Access to your data is protected by Firebase security rules, ensuring that only
authorized users (you and your linked contact) can read or write your debt records.
• Digital signatures are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage with restricted access.
• We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your
personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or
destruction.
• While we take reasonable steps to secure your data, no method of electronic
storage or internet transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute
security.

5. DATA RETENTION

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed
to provide you with the App’s services.
• If you delete your account, your personal data and associated debt records will
be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
• FCM tokens are refreshed automatically by Firebase and do not persist beyond
their technical lifespan.
• You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time
(see Section 8).

IOUEZ uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy
governing how they handle your data:

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

IOUEZ is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect
personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that
a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate
steps to delete such information. If you believe a child under 13 has used our
App, please contact us at Support@IOUEZ.com.

8. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your
personal data:
• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to certain types of data processing.
• Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on

9. PUSH NOTIFICATIONS

IOUEZ uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send you push notifications related
to your debt activity, including new debts, payment requests, payment confirmations,
and agreement signature requests.
You can disable push notifications at any time through your device’s notification
settings. Disabling notifications will not affect core App functionality but you
will no longer receive real-time alerts.

10. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your
own, including the United States, where Google Firebase servers are located. These
countries may have different data protection laws than your country. By using our
App, you consent to such transfers. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place
through Google’s compliance with applicable data protection frameworks.

11. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise
the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. If we make material changes, we
will notify you through the App or by email. We encourage you to review this
Privacy Policy periodically to stay informed about how we protect your information.
Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of
the updated Privacy Policy.
