Automatic due-date reminders

Reminders go out the day before, on the due day and once when a payment is late, in each person’s local morning.

You don’t have to chase anyone. On shared agreements with a due date, IOUEZ reminds both people automatically.

When reminders go out

  • Due tomorrow: the day before the due date.
  • Due today: on the due date.
  • Overdue: once, after the due day has ended for the person who pays.

Each person is reminded in their own local morning (from 9 a.m. in their time zone), so nobody gets a reminder in the middle of the night. See Time zones and due dates.

With an installment plan, each installment gets its own reminders. See How payments count toward installments.

How they arrive

Private agreements

Private agreements aren’t shared with anyone, so no one else is reminded. The Android app can still remind you on your own phone.

Tip: Need to nudge someone right now? Use Request payment on the agreement. See Ask for a payment or a signature.
