Time zones and due dates

Due dates mean the same day for both people, and reminders arrive in each person’s own morning.

People who share an agreement may live in different time zones. IOUEZ handles this for you.

Your time zone

Each of your devices saves your time zone automatically. There is nothing to set.

Due dates

A due date is kept in the time zone it was picked in, so it is the same calendar date for both people.

Reminders and “overdue”

  • Reminders reach each person in their own local morning, from 9 a.m. See Automatic due-date reminders.
  • An agreement becomes Overdue once the due day has ended where the person who pays lives.
  • The weekly summary arrives on Monday at 9 a.m. your time, with dates in your time zone.

Tip: Travelling? Your reminders follow the time zone of the device you used most recently.
