Balances
Each group shows the Total spent, Your balance, and what every member owes or is owed. A positive balance means the group owes you; a negative one means you owe.
Settle up
When someone pays another member back outside the app (cash, a bank transfer, a payment app):
- Open the group and choose Settle up (or Record a payment).
- Choose who paid and who received it, and the amount.
- Add a note if you like, for example “Venmo”.
- Choose Record.
The balances update for everyone. When all balances are zero, the group shows Everyone is settled up.
Made a mistake?
Remove the payment (Remove payment) and record it again. Balances go back to how they were before it.
