An installment plan splits the total due into smaller payments on a schedule. Reminders go out before each one.
Who can use it
Installment plans are part of the Pro plan and higher plans. If your plan doesn’t include them, the agreement shows Upgrade for installments. See Plans and what they include.
Set it up (web)
- Open the agreement before both of you sign.
- In Installments, choose Set up installments.
- Choose How often: Every week, Every 2 weeks or Every month.
- Choose the Number of payments (2 to 120).
- Pick the date of the First payment.
- Check the Schedule preview and choose Save plan.
Monthly plans follow calendar months: a plan starting on January 31 continues on the last day of shorter months.
On Android
When you add a debt, open the installment option, choose how many payments and how often, and the app calculates each amount.
Important: After both people sign a shared agreement, the terms lock and a plan can’t be added. Agree on installments first. See Changing installments after signing.
